#My entry for a local competition :)
“Mango People in Banana Republic”
This
statement by the ruling party’s son-in-law is a foot-in-mouth act.
Meanwhile,
his current enemy (considered a stooge of the opposition) is all smiles.
People with
power usually have good oratory skills. They can motivate the masses and build
a strong nation.
Sadly, these
“apples”-of-the-eye of high and
mighty indulge in senseless war of words.
Nonetheless,
the Mango People fight for vegetable prices, flaunt their “BlackBerries” ,check out movie reviews on
“Rotten Tomatoes “and work hard to
keep the country intact.
The general
verdict of these mangoes:
“Good and
progressive governance seems like sour grapes.”
