Know Thy Star - II

Here, I write about two girls .Both of them played roles that were of 6- 12 years of age when I used to watch them on TV.  I was the same age.

Jodie Sweetin and Tiffany Brissette.
Stephanie Tanner
Or popularly known as Stephanie Tanner (Full House) and VICI the robot (Small Wonder).

No, I didn't hero worship them.
But, they seemed to be the cool icons for my age.

After many years, there's a re run of Full House on Zee Cafe` . This made me Google about these two young stars to find out wassup with them these days.

Realisation dawned upon me that they have grown up! Like me, they too have changed. Unlike me, they are in their 30's.

Know thy star was to help me know about people I watch and cool stuff they're upto.

But, in this case, I decided it would be better for me to know them as their characters and not their real selves. Not because Jodie (who was once a smart kid Stephanie) is now a mother or Tiffany (once an affable robot who could shower out tears and flip through pages of a book in seconds and tell each and every line out of it) is now a former actress and currently a nurse.

Because, they form a part of memory which is still child like.
I actually remember myself playing a computer in a small act-play competition in class V and speaking out my dialogues the way VICI used to say. Oh, I won first prize for that one. So, its one happy memory. :)

Is it necessary to know the real person who is so different from what you have always known him/her to be?

You can count on me

Count On Me

- Bruno Mars

If you ever find yourself stuck in the middle of the sea,
I'll sail the world to find you
If you ever find yourself lost in the dark and you can't see,
I'll be the light to guide you

Find out what we're made of
When we are called to help our friends in need

You can count on me like 1 2 3
I'll be there
And I know when I need it I can count on you like 4 3 2
And you'll be there
Cause that's what friends are supposed to do, oh yeah

Wooooh, Wooooh
yeah Yeah

If you toss and you turn and you just can't fall asleep
I'll sing a song
beside you
And if you ever forget how much you really mean to me
Everyday I will
remind you

Ohh
Find out what we're made of
When we are called to help our friends in need

You can count on me like 1 2 3
I'll be there
And I know when I need it I can count on you like 4 3 2
You'll be there
Cause that's what friends are supposed to do, oh yeah

Wooooh, Wooooh
Yeah Yeah

You'll always have my shoulder when you cry
I'll never let go
Never say goodbye

You can count on me like 1 2 3
I'll be there
And I know when I need it I can count on you like 4 3 2
You'll be there
Cause that's what friends are supposed to do, oh yeah

Wooooh, Wooooh
you can count on me cos' I can count on you

Misha Collins

Misha Collins stars as Castiel, the angel who pulled Dean from Hell in The CW's thriller "Supernatural." He, and others like him, are intervening in human affairs for the first time in 2000 years, because the armies of hell are on the move, and Lucifer has been released.

He then moved on to become a producer and copy writer for National Public Radio on a show called "Weekly Edition." After graduation, Collins traveled the world for a year, spending several months in monastic seclusion in a monastery in Tibet.

In his down time, Collins can be found outdoors kayaking, biking, running or hiking in the mountains. He also enjoys back-country snowboarding and recently took a winter trip to the Sierras where he built and slept in igloos. In addition, Collins is a published poet with works in "The Columbia Poetry Review," "The California Quarterly" and other literary journals.
